An interesting article on the PS3 release.

The launch of the PS3 was considered a failure.
Apparently, most of the first PS3 buyers were not enthusiastic Japanese gamers but poor Chinese people hired to buy the machines without any games.  Some of the “buyers” didn’t even understand Japanese– when they were asked “What software would you like with your PS3?” they would just nod.
The assumption is that they were hired so to buy the machines en masse so that their nefarious Japanese employers (possibly syndicates) could sell them on the black market.  An interesting twist to Sony’s expectations.

I’ll probably write another entry (a more meaningful one) by the end of the day.

Until then,

Your Black Lion

  1. sir… i’m sorry… i guess i was not enough… i’m not like you, after all… i’ve given up on it already…

  2. Quite frankly, I don’t think any good will come out of that. You don’t have to be a total saint in persevering. When you fall, you just have to keep getting up. You’re not like me, yes. You don’t have to be. But you have to do the right thing.

  3. thanks, sir :D
