Lies and Shattered Lives

It truly terrifies me that people actually find men like this to be worthy of following. Their way is destruction, their progeny is death. Their unholy charisma dominates people and shackles them to share in their doom.

Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, “I am he,” and will deceive many.” -Mark 13:5-6

This is only the beginning of a very haunting passage that details what will happen at the end of the age. People have laughed at the idea that the world would end, but seeing these coming true is more than a little terrifying. I am not one for superstition; this is not. This is prophecy coming true.
